2024 | Austin Peay 

  • Had nothing short of a phenomenal year with the Govs’ as he ranked as one of the best offensive players in the ASUN for the ’24 season.
  • He played in 55 games, starting in all, batting a blistering .380 average on the year (3rd-ASUN) with 15 home runs and 68 RBI.
  • Finished the season ranked first in the ASUN in at-bats with 250.
  • Ranked fifth in the ASUN with a .680 slugging percentage.
  • Finished second in the ASUN for runs scored with a total of 73, ranking him second all-time in program history.
  • Was second in the ASUN with 95 hits on the season, which is also the fifth-most in program history.
  • Ranked third in the ASUN with 68 RBI.
  • Hit 24 doubles in the season to rank second in the ASUN.
  • Tripled three times to tie for fourth in the ASUN.
  • Bagged 13 steals which was tied for the most on the team.
  • Went 2-for-4 in the season opener against Western Illinois (February 16) where he hit his first home run and double on the season, scoring twice and tallying an RBI.
  • Set a career-high six RBI in a game at Middle Tennessee (April 16) after a 2-for-7 day at the plate which included an RBI double and a grand slam in his first two at-bats.
  • Had multi-home run games twice in a six-game stretch, once against Jacksonville (April 14) and again versus Middle Tennessee (April 23).
  • Was one of the toughest outs in the ASUN as he only went hitless in just six games on the year.
  • Had a 16-game hit streak stretching from April 21 to May 17 where he went 30-for-70 hitting an even .300 and tallying 17 RBI.
  • Had a 41-game on base streak stretching March 12-May 23 which is the fourth-longest streak in program history.
  • At the conclusion of the season, he signed with the Colorado Rockies organization as a free agent.

2023 | Austin Peay

  • Started all 58 games, batting .333 with five home runs, 33 RBI, 24 doubles, and 24 stolen bases.
  • Became the fifth Govs hitter in program history to record 20 doubles and 20 steals in the same season.
  • Along with teammate Jon Jon Gazdar, he finished the season ranked 11th nationally and led the ASUN Conference with 24 doubles.
  • Ranked second in the ASUN with 24 stolen bases.
  • Finished ASUN play with a .341 batting average and led the Govs with 12 doubles, 11 stolen bases, and 33 runs scored.
  • Govs’ Opening Day starter in center field, where he made 18 starts before starting 40 games in left field.
  • Began a 24-game reached-base-safely streak with a 2-for-5 effort against North Florida (March 18) that began the season’s second month.
  • The reached-safely streak included his season-best 10-game hit streak (March 25-April 7) that pushed his average from .278 to .329.
  • After seeing his hit streak end in a midweek game, he went 5-for-6 with two RBI at UT Martin (April 12) to begin a 10-day stretch that saw him bat 17-for-30 (.567). He closed the 10 days with a 5-for-6 effort at Jacksonville (April 21), pushing his average to a season-high of .364.
  • Provided five RBI in a 2-for-4 effort in the North Alabama series opener (May 18), which included a double and a home run.

2022 | Crowder College

  • Played in 66 games for the Roughriders, helping them reach the NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series as the Region XVI champions and winners of the South Central District title.
  • Batted .368 with five home runs, with 22 doubles, six triples, five home runs, 51 RBI, and 63 runs scored.
  • Opened the NJCAA World Series with back-to-back three-hit games and went 6-for-9 (.667) with three walks and four runs scored in three tournament games.
  • Had a hit in all four games of the South Central District tournament and was 7-for-15 (.467) with four RBI.
  • Had four consecutive multi-RBI games (Feb. 28-March 3) going 8-for-20 (.400) with two doubles, a home run, nine RBI and three walks during the stretch.
  • Had three four-RBI outings during the season: March 20 at Three Rivers, April 22 at Jefferson (Mo.), and April 23 at Jefferson (Mo.).

2021 | Crowder College

  • Transferred to Crowder after spending the fall at Arkansas.
  • Played 45 games in first season at Crowder, as the Roughriders reached the final four of the 2021 NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series.
  • Batted .321 with six home runs, and 43 RBI. Also had nine doubles, four triples, and 41 runs scored.
  • Had a hit in first four games of the NJCAA World Series and was 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBI, and two walks against Walters State. Finished the tournament 7-for-15 (.467) with two doubles, a home run, and six RBI.
  • Missed eight games in April but returned and batted .439 (25-of-57) over season’s final 18 games with 23 RBI and nine multi-hit games.

Prep Career

  • Was an outfielder for head coach Ronnie Goodwin at Cabot High School.
  • Finished prep career with .322 batting average, 85 runs scored, 53 RBI, and 20 doubles.
  • Named 6A All-State as a junior in 2019 after batting .420 with 19 RBI, 12 stolen bases, and 30 runs scored in 28 games played.
  • As a sophomore, posted a .309 batting average with 15 stolen bases, and 26 runs scored in 27 games.
  • As a freshman, batted .273 with a home run and 24 RBI. He played in all 32 games helped Cabot win the 2016 Arkansas Class 7A state championship.
  • Ranked the No. 1 outfielder and No. 5 overall player in the state of Arkansas by Perfect Game.
