As a sophomore in 2018-19: First Gov since Derek Wright (1/31/08 vs. Murray State) with a points-assists double-double after scoring 11 points and dishing out 10 dimes against Oakland City... scored 14 points against Mississippi State, including Austin Peay’s final eight against the 18th-ranked Bulldogs... scored 15 points, hitting 8-of-10 at the free-throw line, at Ohio... scored 400th career point in the win at Troy, sinking 3-of-4 free throws down the stretch to close out the Trojans... led the Govs with 18 points in a reserve role against Calvary... poured in 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting off the pine against Eastern Kentucky to open OVC play... season-high 20 points included career-high tying four three-pointers against Morehead State; also chipped in with career-best 10 rebounds to achieve career’s first points-rebounds double-double... scored the 500th points of his Austin Peay career during the Jan. 10 contest at Southeast Missouri... lower-body injury sidelined him for multiple weeks; missed final 14 games.

As a freshman in 2017-18: Freshman sharpshooter entered the starting lineup in his sixth game and never left, setting the foundation for a solid future… came off the bench for a team-best 13 points at Virginia… his career-high 25 points against Oakland City were the most by an Austin Peay freshman since 2011 (W. Triggs vs. Tennessee Tech)… became the first Gov freshman with three straight double-digit outings since 2016 (J. Savage in the OVC Tournament) with 13 against UNC Asheville… made the most of his first career start, pouring in 23 points on a career-best 9-of-13 shooting against Miami… is the first APSU freshman since at least the turn of the century (when electronic record-keeping began) to post two 20-point games in his first six collegiate contests… earned first adidas OVC Freshman of the Week honor after averaging 14.0 ppg, 3.0 apg, 3.0 spg and 2.5 rpg, with 61.1 percent shooting against Bethel and Miami… led the Govs in scoring at Oklahoma State, pouring in 19 points… equaled his career-high with a trio of three pointers during the UT Martin contest at the Dunn Center… poured in 21 points against Morehead State, hitting 6-of-8 from the floor and 7-of-9 at the line… made it a career-long four straight games in double figures with 10 points against UT Martin… extended double-digit scoring streak to five games with 14 points at Southeast Missouri, chipping in a career-high six assists… chipped in 12 points, including a trio of threes, in Austin Peay’s comeback win in the OVC quarterfinals against Eastern Illinois.

Prior to Austin Peay: Comes to Austin Peay after a year of postgrad work at 22 Feet Academy... via poll of area coaches prior to his final season at South Warren in 2015-16, he was rated the fifth-best player in the Fourth Region... as a junior, averaged 16.8 points on 53.7 percent from beyond the arc... departed South Warren as the Spartans all-time leading scorer and was a top-50 scorer in the EYBL... as a senior, he bumped his scoring up to a team-high 18.4 ppg and continued to hone his shot, hitting 46.3 percent overall from the floor in 29 contests as the Spartans advanced to the District 14 quarterfinals... teamed with fellow APSU frosh Terry Taylor in AAU and on the Nike EYBL circuit for Western KY Elite and We All Can Go out of Nashville.

Personal: Son of Cedric Gumm... has two siblings, Cedric and Haley... born May 2.
