2024 | Austin Peay

  • Started in all 56 games for the Govs leading the charge offensively for the team to a regular season champion title.
  • The ASUN Player of the Year posted a .393 batting average on the season with a conference leading, and program record, 30 home runs.
  • LMG rewrote the record books both for the ASUN and the Governors.
  • He set new single-season conference records for runs scored (94), slugging percentage (.900), and home runs (30).
  • He set new single-season program records for home runs (30), slugging percentage (.900), on-base percentage (.533), runs scored (94), and bases on balls (54).
  • Ended his career at APSU by setting new career program records in slugging percentage (.761), and on-base percentage (.487).
  • Got off to a fast start by going 2-for-3 against Western Illinois (February 16) hitting his first double and home run of the season while tallying a pair of RBI.
  • He followed up the performance two days later in Game 2 against Western Illinois (February 18) where he went 2-for-3 again, except this time hitting a pair of home runs to add four more RBI to his total.
  • Had his next multi-home run game against SEMO (March 19) where he went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs and tallying three RBI.
  • Hit his first three-homer game against Middle Tennessee (April 23) where he went 4-for-5 with three home runs and a triple while picking up seven RBI.
  • Had a nine-game streak with a hit and RBI at the tail end of the season (May 5-21) where he went 17-for-35 (.486) with a double, triple, and four home runs while collecting 19 RBI.
  • Started 11 of 12 games on the mound for the Govs and finishing the year with a 5-2 record and an 8.23 ERA.
  • In his 50.1 innings pitched, he struck out 43 batters.

2023 | Austin Peay

  • Started in all 58 games as the Govs designated hitter and also started 13 games as a pitcher.
  • Led the Govs’ with a .354 batting average, 16 home runs, and 51 RBI.
  • Ranked seventh in the ASUN batting race, 11th in home runs, and 14th in RBI among ASUN hitters.
  • His .633 slugging percentage was 12th in the league, and his .438 on-base percentage ranked 16th.
  • Led team with 25 multi-hit outings and had 13 multi-RBI games.
  • Also made 13 starts as a pitcher, beginning the season as the No. 3 starter (two starts) and made five starts as the team’s No. 1 with eight starts as the No. 3.
  • Became the fourth Governors hitter to finish a season with 80-plus hits and 15-plus home runs, joining a group that includes APSU Hall of Famers Nate Manning (1996) and Greg Bachman (2012) as well as 2013 OVC Player of the Year Craig Massoni.
  • Batted 6-for-16 (.375) during the Govs' five games against Top 25 teams: Vanderbilt, Oklahoma State, and Tennessee.
  • Began Austin Peay career with 11 hits in first four games, batting .611 (18 ABs), including a 5-for-6, two-homer, five RBI outing in the Illinois State series finale (Feb. 21).
  • Terrified opposing pitchers in April, batting .450 (41-for-92) with 25 RBI during the month. He was held hitless once during the month’s 20 games while posting 13 multi-hit games (five games with three-plus hits) and scoring 25 RBI.
  • Put together his second two-homer game of the season against UT Martin (April 4), which included a grand slam as part of a six-RBI performance, making him the third Govs’ hitter with a grand slam in 2023.
  • Named ASUN Player of the Week (4/17) after batting .650 (13-for-20) with three doubles, a triple, two home runs, and five RBI.
  • Hit home runs in back-to-back games against Liberty (March 25-26), Queens (April 14-15), and FGCU (April 29-30).
  • Had a 16-game hit streak end at Tennessee (May 9), but batted .475 (28-of-59) with an RBI in 11 games for 16 total RBI.
  • Closed season with a 3-for-4 effort against Jacksonville State in the ASUN Baseball Championship (May 26) that saw him score three runs with an RBI.
  • On the mound, he provided the Govs’ first quality start of the season with a 7.0-inning outing against Purdue Fort Wayne (March 11) in which he struck out seven batters.
  • Notched first collegiate pitching victory at Kennesaw State (April 7), holding Owls to three runs over 5.0 innings.
  • Allowed three or fewer earned runs in eight of his 13 starts while receiving an average of 6.7 runs of support in his starts.

2022 | Oklahoma State

  • Saw action in seven games, starting five, all as a designated hitter.
  • Made collegiate debut in OSU’s win at Vanderbilt, Feb. 20, and was 1-for-4 with two RBI at the plate.
  • Walked and scored twice off the bench against Wright State, Feb. 27.
  • Walked and scored off the bench against Seton Hall, March 20.
  • During the summer, won the Cape Cod Baseball League’s 2022 Home Run Derby and played with the Chatham Anglers.

2021 | Chipola Junior College

  • Played in 36 games and batted .326 with three home runs and 17 RBI.
  • Also made six relief pitching appearances, finishing with five strikeouts in six appearances.
  • Went 3-for-3 against Wallace Community College-Dothan, Jan. 29.
  • Hit season’s first home run at Andrew College, March 4, going 2-for-2 with four RBI.
  • Belted home runs in back-to-back games at Northwest Florida State College, April 6-7, going 2-for-4 with three RBI in the two games.
  • Ended season with a four-game hit streak, finishing 5-for-11 with three RBI.

2020 | George Mason

  • Played in all 15 games during the COVID-19 shortened season.
  • Led GMU in hits (19), doubles, triples, and runs scored (11).
  • Ranked second on the team in RBI (9), walks (7) and was third in both slugging percentage (.596) and on-base percentage (.415).
  • Had at least one hit in 10 of 15 games, including four multi-hit games.
  • Ended the season on a five-game hitting streak (11-for-22) with six RBI and six runs scored.
  • Also made five appearances on the mound (tied third-most on the team) with an 0-1 record and 4.91 ERA., recording eight strikeouts over 7.1 innings of work.

Prep Career

  • Was a pitcher and outfielder for head coach John Thomas, leading the Bruins to Virginia’s 2019 Class 6 State Championship.
  • Named the Virginia High School League’s Player of the Year in 2019 and was a First Team All-VHSL selection as a utility player.
  • Washington Post named him its 2019 All-Met Player of the Year.
  • Also was conference player and pitcher of the year and region player of the year.
  • Hit 20 career home runs with the Bruins.
  • Ranked the No. 7 right-handed pitcher in Virginia by Perfect Game.
