CLARKSVILLE – Senior quarterback JaVaughn Craig, of the Austin Peay State University football team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.

A Chattanooga, Tennessee native Craig had a seven total touchdowns in Austin Peay’s 58-21 win over Tennessee Tech. Craig rushed for 84 yards on seven carries, and ran for two touchdowns. Through the air, Craig passed for 291 yards and tossed five touchdown passes. He also scored 42 points on his own – more than any other team in the Ohio Valley Conference scored on Saturday. This week, Craig was named the OVC Offensive Player of the Week, the TSWA Offensive Player of the Week, and the CFPA National Performer of the Week.
