Mault named Santa Fe Cattle Co. Athlete of the Week

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Baseball's Jeff Mault has earned his second Santa Fe Cattle Co./Austin Peay State University
Athlete of the Week honor.
The senior pitcher recorded his season's 10th win in an 11-2 victory against Eastern Illinois, Sunday, the second game in a
three-game series with the Panthers. Mault pitched a complete seven-inning game, allowing only one earned run on six hits. He
walked two and struck out seven in the game.
Mault currently leads the OVC with 10 wins, two ahead of teammate Rowdy Hardy, and is second in ERA at 2.21.
Mault is from Wowaka, Ind.

Softball's Natasha Anderson was the winning pitcher in the Lady Govs' only conference win at Samford over the
weekend. She also led the team in hitting with a .400 average (4-10). Anderson is a freshman from Clarkrange.

Men's Golf's Matt Gallant finished in seventh-place tie in the OVC golf championship with rounds of 71, 79 and 78 for a
228 total.

Christine Idoux finished in 16th place in the OVC women's golf championships with rounds of 81, 88 and 84 for a 253
total as the Lady Govs' top finisher.
