APSU Quarterback Cunningham named Athlete of the Week

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Junior quarterback Mark Cunningham, of the Austin Peay
State University football team has been named this week's Copies in a Flash Athlete
of the week.
Cunningham was 26-of-34 passing for 308 yards and two touchdowns, leading the
Govs to a 49-10 win against Charleston (W.Va). It marked the first time a Govs
quarterback had thrown for more than 300 yards in a game since Brian Baker did it
against Campbellsville, Aug. 30, 2001.
One of Cunningham's touchdown passes, a 42-yard strike to Lanis Frederick,
came just three plays after a Charleston score. The pass to Frederick put the Govs up
