CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay State University's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) visited Liberty Elementary School, Thursday, for Read Across America. Liberty Elementary joined with APSU as a Partner in Education earlier this semester.

Among the student-athletes participating was Jay Courtney, Chris Fletcher and Josh Hackett, of football; Ashley Beck and Kari Cleland, of soccer; Staci Lynch, of women's golf; Carrie Burgraff, of women's track and field; and Danielle Dye, of the cheer team.

SAAC is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. The committee offers input on rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes, while participating in community service projects to promote a positive image of the athletic department.
