CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Austin Peay State University's Athletic department will recognize and honor its student-athletes at 6:30 p.m., Monday, April 28 at the Austin Peay Athletic Banquet in the Morgan University Center Ballroom. Tickets for the public are $10 each and are available for purchase at the athletics office.

The banquet, which will be hosted by Governors Radio Network talent David Loos, includes a buffet-style dinner and features the University's top athletic honors as voted on by APSU's coaching staffs. The Joy Award ? which goes to the Most Valuable Male and Female Senior Student-Athletes ? and the Governors Club Achievement Scholarship ? which goes to the rising senior with the highest grade-point-average ? also will be announced.

Each team will recognize its top performing and most improved student-athletes, as well as its top scholar-athlete. Other awards to be presented include Most Outstanding Male and Female Athlete along with Male and Female Scholar Athlete.
