Carrie Daniels Quotes:
“We had a few let downs tonight and a few communication problems. When you have a team like Murray (State) who can run and shoot the ball as well as they did tonight you're not going to win many ball games. You just have to give them credit, they are a veteran team with a lot of wins and they are the defending champions.”
“I give them a lot of credit, they made big plays tonight. We talked a lot in the locker room about contesting their shots because they have such great range. We also had to defend a lot of their dribble penetration that they do such a great job with. As a team, they can just read defenses so well and that what makes them so dangerous.”
“We really just didn't have people on the offensive boards we took some quick shots and didn't have that inside-out game working for us tonight. We didn't move the ball very well and we also got some people in foul trouble that didn't help our cause tonight. I have to give Murray (State) credit they just came out tonight and attacked the basket; they were just the better team.”
