Post-Game Notes: Lady Govs vs. Western Kentucky

• The Lady Govs have now lost six in a row to Western Kentucky, giving APSU back-to-back to losses at home.
• Austin Peay never led in the game, the first time this season in which the Lady Govs haven't been on top.
• Junior guard Tiasha Gray scored 33 points on Tuesday, going 12-of-22 from the field with four three-pointers.
• Gray also had six assists and five steals in her fourth game of playing the full 40 minutes.
• Sophomore center Tearra Banks was the second-leading scorer for APSU, having 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting.
• Junior guard Jacey Scott notched a couple career-highs on the night, dishing six assists while also recording four steals.
• WKU's Chastity Gooch scored 24 points in the first half, and finished the game with 32 points (14-of-26).
• The Lady Toppers jumped out to a 20-point lead at halftime, sparked by a 21-1 run which spanned roughly five minutes.
• Austin Peay cut the gap to as low as 15 points thanks to a 17-4 run with 5:10 remaining in the contest, with Gray scoring 14 points in that five minute span.
• However, the last five shots the Lady Toppers took were all three-pointers, which pushed the final out to 23 points.
• The Lady Govs claimed the turnover advantage for the sixth time this season, but they are now 1-5 in those games.
• APSU has not won the rebounding battle against a Division I opponent this season, and were dominated on the glass by the Lady Toppers in a 52-21 disadvantage.
• This led to WKU having 27 second-chance points compared to the eight digit in the APSU column.
