Austin Peay enters the week needing to play catch up as far as the OVC standings are concerned. In fact, with a month left in the season, the Govs seek to improve their stock in the OVC race, coming in at 3-5.

After a 3-5 January, APSU hopes it can at least reverse that trend in February.

APSU is coming off an excruciating 96-88 loss to Murray State, a contest that saw APSU come from 17 points down to lead late in the contest, but then score only two points over the final two minutes, going just 1-of-7 from the floor down the stretch.

Junior Ed Dyson scored a career-best 19 points while also grabbing a season-best seven rebounds.

Center Chris Horton went 9-of-11 from the field against Tennessee State, making him 19 of his last 22 from the floor.

The Governors committed a season-low seven turnovers against Murray State.

Tennessee State comes in at 3-21 overall, 2-8 in the OVC. However, the Tigers are coming off an impressive 81-68 victory at Tennessee Tech last Thursday.

The Tigers are led by the OVC's leading scorer, Patrick Miller, who is averaging 23.3 points per game. He has led TSU ins score 22 of 24 games this season and has scored double digits in 36 straight contests.
