Post-Game Notes: Lady Govs vs. Southeast Missouri

• Austin Peay improves its Ohio Valley Conference record to 5-4, ending its two-game losing streak at the Dunn Center.
• It's the first time the Lady Govs have defeated Southeast Missouri in Clarksville since 2012, with APSU now holding back-to-back victories in the series (27-25 overall).
• The Lady Govs never allowed Southeast Missouri to capture the lead, the second time this season in which APSU has won wire-to-wire.
• Player of the Game Beth Rates earned her third career double-double and first this season. The sophomore had 12 points and a career-high16 rebounds in the contest.
• It's the first time since Feb. 23, 2013 (Alexis Hardaway) in which an Austin Peay player has grabbed 15+ rebounds.
• Junior forward Jennifer Nwokocha led all scorers with a season-best 16 points, her highest scoring output since having 16 at Southeast Missouri last season.
• Freshman Brianne Alexander scored a career-high 15 points from her center position, the fifth time reaching double figures in 10 opportunities.
• Senior Kristen Stainback added 14 points (3-of-8 3FG), the 16^th double figure scoring effort for her in 2014-15.
• APSU's leading scoring, Tiasha Gray, failed to reach 10+ points with eight on the evening, ending her streak of consecutive double-digit games at 19.
• However, Gray reverted to setting up teammates, totaling eight assists to go along with six rebounds and three steals.
• Gray is now ranked ninth in APSU career assists with 308.
