TEAM NOTES
Player of the Game: A.J. Gaura (3 IP, 0 H, O R, 2 BB, 4 K)
Austin Peay (22-17, 13-9 OVC) defeated second-place Morehead State, 8-4, on Friday at Raymond C. Hand Park.
APSU had a three-run inning in the fourth to knot the score at 3-3 before taking the lead the following inning. A three spot in the eighth would break the seal as closer A.J. Gaura held the Eagles to no hits over three innings.
Starting pitcher Alex Robles went deep for the first time this season, while Dre Gleason provided the power with a homer in the fourth.

ON THE MOUND
Austin Peay pitchers combined to allow four runs on seven hits, all charged to starter Alex Robles.
Robles threw 104 pitches over six innings, walking two while striking out four. It's his fifth-straight win of the season, improving his record to 5-2.
Levi Primasing followed out of the bullpen, walking his only batter faced. A.J. Gaura would be the stopper for APSU, limiting MSU to no hits and two walks in his three innings. It's his sixth save of the season, which is the second-most in the Ohio Valley Conference.
