  • The Govs' win snapped a nine-game losing streak in the series, dating back to Jan. 8, 2011.
  • It was the Govs' first win in the CFSB Center since Jan. 8, 2011.
  • The victory improved the Govs to 5-9 on the road this season, including a pair of OVC road victories. The Govs failed to win an OVC road game a year ago and went 1-14 overall on the road.
  • With Chris Horton scoring 28 points and Josh Robinson 21, it was fifth time this season when the Govs had two players score 20 or more points.

  • Chris Horton matched a career high with four steals, including the one at midcourt that eventually led to the game-winning free throws.
