CLARKSVILLE—Austin Peay State University women's cross country team is refreshed and ready for the University of Evansville Cross Country Invitational starting at 10:45 a.m., Saturday at Angel Mounds Course in Evansville, Ind.

Austin Peay is fueled by junior Emmaculate Kiplagat's consistency running in front for the Governors. Kiplagat notched a time of 18:26.09 at the Greater Louisville Classic (Sept. 30) followed by junior Caroline Kiplagat who crossed the line in 19:09.54. The junior pair have finished one-two for the Govs in all four races this season and look to pace Austin Peay to a strong showing in the regular season finale.

The Govs will run in the second race of the day after the men's eight-kilometer race which starts at 10 a.m.
