CLARKSVILLE—After an 11-day hiatus, Austin Peay State University returns to the sand in Conway, Arkansas for the Central Arkansas Invitational, a two-day event scheduled for a 9 a.m., Friday, start.
The Govs will bookend the weekend with matches against the host Beach Bears, with a pair of matches against ULM in between. The Govs take a five-match winning streak into the weekend, including four straight 5-0 wins against Huntingdon, Carson-Newman and a doubleheader sweep of Morehead State, April 2.

Preview the Pairings
- Gerig and Gable. As the top pairing for all 15 matches to date, Cecily Gable and Ginny Gerig have developed a winning rapport, winning their last three matches and looking to even their season record this weekend.
- Korfhage and Moore. The newest pairing, freshmen Nina Korfhage and Brooke Moore swept a 21-16, 21-17 match in the back half of the doubleheader against Morehead State, April 2, in their first appearance together this season.
- Turner and Panning. At 7-3 in their last 10 and 7-5 overall, Jenna Panning and Haley Turner have enjoyed consistent success as the No. 3 pairing, going 5-0 in that spot in the lineup.
- Slay and Theiss. Ashley Slay and Cori Theiss enjoyed one of the most dominating perofrmances in the last match against Morehead State, crushing Jordan Jones and Lauren Rokey 21-8, 21-15.
- Taff and Stitt. Kaylee Taff and Chloe Stitt bring a six-match winning streak into the weekend, tied with Turner and Panning for the team-best.
