  • With Austin Peay's 72-70 victory, the Governors improve their record to 6-9 all-time versus Southern Illinois.
  • Austin Peay is now 19-40 all-time versus teams in the Missouri Valley Conference.
  • Govs head coach Dave Loos is now 2-5 all-time versus Southern Illinois.
  • Sophomore center Chris Horton's seven blocks give him 12 total in his last two games.
  • Horton now has 19 career games with three or more blocked shots.
  • Horton also led the Govs with 10 rebounds, marking the 21st time in his career he has led the Govs in rebounding in a game.
  • Horton has recorded at least 10 rebounds in a game for the 12th time in his career.
  • Loos is now 23-27 overall in two-point final margin games.
  • Senior Will Triggs finished with 17 points to lead the Govs in scoring. It was the seventh time in his career that he led the Govs in scoring in a game.
  • Triggs, with his 17 points, moved past the 800-point mark in his career. He now sit at 812 total points.
  • Junior Ed Dyson's three assists led the Govs. It was the first time in Dyson's career he has led the Govs in assists.
  • Triggs scored in double figures for the 34th time in his career, senior Travis Beltran his 27th and junior Damarius Smith for the first time in his APSU career.
