Coach's Corner
With head women's tennis coach Maria Sorbello Morrison
Overall thoughts… "I thought we did great for it being our first fall tournament. There are things that we need to improve on in doubles and singles, but overall, I am happy to see them all competing hard."
On Melody Hefti... "Melody had a great tournament. She worked hard on her 'in between' points focus. I am really pleased with her effort and attitude."
Looking ahead... "Next week, we want to work a bit more on our doubles positioning and making sure we are pressuring our opponents. I saw a lot of good things in doubles, but there are also areas we can improve. Step by step, we are going to continue to improve this fall."
Up Next
With its first fall tournament now behind it, Austin Peay will be on the road for its three remaining tournaments, beginning with the UCA Fall Tournament, Sept. 23-24 in Conway, Arkansas.
