CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.– Junior outside hitter Brooke Moore, of the Austin Peay State University volleyball team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.

Moore crushed the competition en route to All-Tournament honors at the NU Under Armour Challenge, compiling 44 kills and hitting .238 against Northwestern, Stephen F. Austin and Texas Tech. She posted a season-high 18 kills in the opener against Northwestern and wrapped her stay in Evanston with a 13-kill, 18-dig effort in Austin Peay’s 3-1 win against Texas Tech—the Governors third-straight season with a win against a Power Five foe.

The Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week is selected by the APSU Sports Information staff each Wednesday during the academic year. Copies in a Flash, of Clarksville, sponsors the award.

Other notable performances by Austin Peay athletes included:

• Freshman Tate Dickerson, of the men’s golf team, made his first appearance as a Gov and placed 14^th at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate. The Booneville, Mississippi native shot a 210 and closed the tournament with a final-round 67—best by an APSU freshman since Chase Korte (April 10, 2018).
• Senior kicker Logan Birchfield, of the football team, earned his second career Ohio Valley Conference Specialist of the Week honor after hitting three field goals against Central Arkansas—the first Gov with a trio of field goals in one game since Stephen Stansell (2011).
