Channels named Athlete of the Week

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. ? Freshman Wes Channels, of the Austin Peay State
University men's basketball team, has been named this week's Copies in a Flash
Austin Peay Athlete of the Week.
Channels averaged 15.6 points, three rebounds and three assists in three games
for the Govs last week. Inheriting the starting spot from the injured Kyle Duncan,
Channels scored a career-high 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a home
victory against Eastern Kentucky. Channels was also named Ohio Valley Conference
Freshman of the Week.

The Austin Peay Athlete of the Week is selected by the APSU Sports Information
Wk Student-Athlete,
Sport
