Austin Peay State University men's tennis team dropped its third straight Ohio Valley Conference match, 7-0, at Jacksonville State, Thursday. The Govs fall to 2-10 overall and 0-3 in league matches. The Gamecocks improve to 6-6 overall with a 2-1 OVC mark.
The Govs were swept for the second time in conference play as their struggles continued.
The Gamecocks cruised through the Govs with ease, sweeping both the doubles and singles competitions. In fact, Eduardo Saratt blasted Lucas De Brito so quick, that the match was completed before any other match finished the first set. Patrick Puertolas battled at No. 3 singles, taking JSU's Joey Unkenholz losing in three sets after winning the second set, 6-3.
