Clarksville, Tenn. – Senior Caroline Wistrom, of the Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.

After a tactical shake-up moved Wistrom from her usual place along the backline into an attacking position for the Governors, she responded with two goals and an assist in Austin Peay’s 4-1 drubbing of Jacksonville State.

Wistrom helped Claire Larose open the scoring with a nice feed to Larose at the near post in the 17^th minute against the Gamecocks, then followed that with a 59^th-minute goal that proved to be the gamewinner. Just over 10 minutes later, she netted her second goal, ripping a howler into the roof of the net off a Katie Kenward cross.

Wistrom's five points are the most by a Gov in a single game this season and makes her one of only 12 players in program history to have recorded five points in a game. Her efforts earned the Prospect, Kentucky native her first career Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week honor.

Other notable performances by Austin Peay athletes included:

• Senior setter Kristen Stucker, of the volleyball team, picked up her 18^th career OVC Setter of the Week honor and her fourth this season, leading the Govs to a .268 attack percentage against Murray State and Morehead State and averaging 12.29 assists per set against the Racers and Eagles.
• Sophomore quarterback Jeremiah Oatsvall, of the football team, threw for 245 yards and four touchdowns—both career highs—against eighth-ranked Jacksonville State in front of an ESPN3 audience, Saturday.
• Freshman Taylor Dedmen, of the women’s golf team, paced the Govs to a third-place team finish in the rain-soaked 2018 F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate with a 228 (79-74-75), placing 10^th overall and averaging 4.93 strokes on par-5 attempts for the tournament to lead the Govs and tie for third overall.
