Clarksville, Tenn. – Sophomore quarterback Jeremiah Oatsvall, of the Austin Peay State University football team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.

The Brentwood native threw a program-record tying five touchdown passes in the Govs 41-10 Homecoming win against Tennessee Tech, Saturday, going 15-of-19 through the air for 279 yards.

Oatsvall’s five-score day tied him for most in a single game in the Ohio Valley Conference this season, with both his yardage and touchdown numbers representing career-highs. He’s now the first Austin Peay quarterback since Dennis Dyer in 1968 to throw four or more touchdowns in two different games in the same season.

The Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week is selected by the APSU Sports Information staff each Wednesday during the academic year. Copies in a Flash, of Clarksville, sponsors the award.

Other notable performances by Austin Peay athletes included:

• Senior Reagan Greene, of the women’s golf team, won the 2018 Town & Country Invitational at McCabe Golf Course in Nashville, firing a 141 (69-72) for a one-shot victory. That, coupled with the Governors’ team triumph at McCabe, gave Greene OVC Women’s Golfer of the Week honor.
• Senior setter Kristen Stucker, of the volleyball team, earned her sixth OVC Setter of the Week honor for the 2018 year after leading the Govs to a .311 attack percentage as a team, including a .432 mark against Southeast Missouri. She tallied 74 total assists.
