One of those most responsible for getting Austin Peay athletics started... Compiled 29-18 record as mens basketball coach at Austin Peay Normal from 1929 through 1936... Also coached the womens team over the same span... Served as head baseball coach from 1933 through 1936 and posted a 27-23 record... Later became university president from 1945 until 1962 and now holds title of President Emeritus.
