Clarksville, Tenn.– Sophomore sprinter Sabrina Richman, of the Austin Peay State University track and field team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.

The Atlanta native blazed her way to the Governors first indoor 400m dash victory since 2016 with a 57.19 mark to close out the pre-Christmas slate at the Saluki Fast Start. Her mark was a full second ahead of her closest competition and was one of four individual wins for the Govs on Saturday.

As if that weren’t enough, Richman pulled off a runner-up finish in the 200m dash with a 25.36 mark in her first indoor 200 as a Gov.

The Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week is selected by the APSU Sports Information staff each Wednesday during the academic year. Copies in a Flash, of Clarksville, sponsors the award.

Other notable performances by Austin Peay athletes included:

• Junior guard Nieja Crawford, of the women’s basketball team, scored 12 points and pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds for her second career double-double—both since Nov. 29—in the Govs win against Alabama A&M.
• Senior guard Zach Glotta, of the men’s basketball team, scored 17 points—his 25^th career double-digit scoring night as a Gov—and secured a career-best six steals against Calvary.
